Tenisha Warner, the widow of actor Malcolm-Jamal Warner, filed a lawsuit July 20 against his mother, Pamela Warner, seeking more than $1.2 million from the Warner Family Trust.
The complaint, obtained by TMZ, claims the late Cosby Show star failed to meet financial commitments from a prenuptial agreement signed days before the couple married in May 2022. Those commitments included maintaining a $1 million life insurance policy naming Tenisha as beneficiary, funding a Roth IRA, making annual tax-free gifts of $16,000, and paying her a monthly $5,000 salary for serving as his assistant and chief of staff, according to The New York Post's Page Six.
The lawsuit alleges the obligations were never fully satisfied before Warner died. Tenisha now seeks payment from the trust administered by Pamela Warner.
