Maki & Ramen Signs Fourth Franchise Site at Frasers Plus Braehead

Maki & Ramen, the award-winning Japanese restaurant brand, will open at Frasers Plus Braehead, taking a 3,886 sq ft restaurant space that seats up to 120 guests. The fast-growing Scottish operator will bring its full dining experience to the centre, marking its fourth franchised restaurant and its second franchise location in Scotland.
The brand, known for a contemporary approach to Japanese cuisine, has built a loyal following across Scotland. Braehead gives Maki & Ramen a step beyond Glasgow city centre into a destination that already draws shoppers and leisure visitors from across the region, the centre said.
Rachel Scott, head of leasing at Global Mutual, welcomed the signing. "Maki & Ramen is exactly the type of operator we're looking to attract," she said. "The brand has built a strong reputation across Scotland and the decision to choose Frasers Plus Braehead reflects the confidence ambitious brands continue to have in the scheme."
