Majestic Opens New Store in Trowbridge as Retail Expansion Continues

Online shoppers can order from the full range for free next-day delivery via the store’s electric van. Majestic’s “Shop Local” feature allows customers to order from the Trowbridge stock in real time, with home delivery or click and collect available within four hours.

The new store will support Majestic Commercial, the retailer’s B2B division that supplies wines to gastropubs, bars, and restaurants in Wiltshire. Majestic Commercial, named On-Trade Supplier of the Year at the Drinks Business Awards 2024, partners with more than 4,200 hospitality venues across the UK, including Manchester City Football Club, Macdonald Hotels & Resorts, and Lord’s cricket ground.

The Trowbridge launch is the first new store opening in Majestic’s 2026/27 financial year, with at least four more sites planned. The company has expanded steadily since its split from Naked Wines and its acquisition by Fortress Investment Group in December 2019. Since then, under former management reintroduced with Fortress’s backing, Majestic has opened more than 25 new shops and more than quadrupled sales in its Commercial division.
