Magicpin's Vera AI assistant launched in six international markets, targeting restaurants and retailers. The company aims for 500,000 AI interactions by 2026.
Magicpin rolled out its AI assistant Vera in six countries on Thursday, bringing the merchant tool to restaurants and retailers outside India for the first time.
The company said Vera gives real-time order-volume insights to help merchants plan operations and manage demand. The feature was introduced in India during the recent LPG crisis.
Vera is now active in the US, Saudi Arabia, South Africa, Malaysia, Sri Lanka, and the UAE. Magicpin CEO Anshoo Sharma said the company plans to enter more markets in the coming months.
Magicpin has invested $1 million in its AI stack, with Vera as a key component. During a trial phase, Vera handled more than 82,000 AI-powered interactions, the company said. Sharma said the goal is to reach 500,000 interactions by the end of 2026.
Vera supports merchants across more than 25 business categories, including restaurants, retail, beauty, healthcare, and grocery. The Middle East is Vera's fastest-growing international market, according to the company.
"This is just the beginning of our global journey. We plan to expand Vera into more international markets while continuing to invest in multi-lingual capabilities, region-specific intelligence and AI-powered merchant workflows," Sharma said.
