Li-FT Power starts 163-hole, 39km drill program at the Adina-Galinée spodumene pegmatite complex in Quebec, targeting infill and expansion of the current resource estimate.
Li-FT Power Ltd. has started drilling at the Adina-Galinée Lithium Project in Quebec, one of the larger spodumene pegmatite complexes in the province. The TSX Venture-listed company plans 163 diamond drill holes totaling 38,970 meters, targeting infill and expansion of the current mineral resource estimate.
The program uses 50-meter section spacing with pierce points roughly 75 meters apart, testing mineralization to depths of 400 meters below surface. Surface exploration across 5,400 hectares will include about 680 till samples, prospecting, and geological mapping to find additional pegmatite occurrences and generate brownfield targets.
LIFT assembled the AGLP through its acquisition of Winsome Resources Limited earlier this year, plus agreements with Azimut Exploration Inc. and SOQUEM Inc. The consolidation gave the company a single land position across the pegmatite complex.
Separately, LIFT is running till sampling, rock sampling, and mapping at its Cancet, Tilly, Sirmac-Clapier, and Nottaway properties. Those range from advanced to early-stage exploration and sit within the company's broader Quebec lithium portfolio.
Francis MacDonald, President and CEO, said the company is focused on developing hard rock lithium assets in Canada. LIFT also owns the Yellowknife Lithium Project in the Northwest Territories and holds early-stage exploration properties in both jurisdictions.
Technical information in the release was reviewed by Ron Voordouw, Ph.D., P.Geo., a qualified person under NI 43-101. Exploration results were reviewed by Ben Eggers, MAIG, P.Geo., a competent person under the JORC Code.
The company previously reported mineral resource estimates in its April 2026 prospectus lodged with ASIC. LIFT said it is not aware of any new information that materially affects those estimates.
