Kidder Group, with $3B in career sales and $170M in 2025, joins Pacific Sotheby's in Newport Beach. The team ranked among top 100 small teams by WSJ/RealTrends.
The Kidder Group, a top-ranked real estate team led by Heather Kidder, joined Pacific Sotheby's International Realty's Newport Beach office, the brokerage said Monday.
The four-member team closed more than $170 million in sales volume in 2025 and ranked among the nation's top 100 small teams in the 2026 RealTrends Verified rankings published by The Wall Street Journal. Over Heather Kidder's career, the team has completed more than $3 billion in residential sales.
Kidder, a Newport Beach native and University of California, Santa Barbara graduate, has spent nearly 30 years in the local market. She grew up in a family of real estate brokers and custom home builders, she said.
"After nearly 30 years in Newport Beach real estate, I know that the most important thing we can do is continue finding better ways to serve our clients," Kidder said in a statement. "Pacific Sotheby's International Realty gives us the opportunity to pair the relationships and local knowledge we've built over decades with extraordinary global reach, marketing and a network of advisors in the markets that matter to our clients."
Martha Mosier, President of Pacific Sotheby's International Realty, called the Kidder Group "an important addition to the firm."
"Heather has built the kind of business that can only come from decades of experience, exceptional market knowledge and trusted client relationships," Mosier said.
The team includes Heather Kidder as principal, Doug Andrews as director of operations, Cherie Axelson as sales associate and Sara Taylor as broker associate.
Pacific Sotheby's International Realty, founded in 2008, has more than 500 advisors across 12 offices in Orange and San Diego Counties. The firm closed over $4.5 billion in sales volume in 2025.
The Sotheby's International Realty network covers 86 countries and territories with about 26,000 professionals, generating roughly $182.4 billion in global sales volume and more than $7 billion in referrals last year, the release said.
