Keka's latest product update adds AI to hiring and workforce planning, building on a mobile-first design that saw strong demand during the pandemic.
Keka is embedding artificial intelligence tools across its hiring and workforce planning modules, the Indian HR tech firm said. The company also added AI features for performance management. The update builds on a mobile-first platform that gained traction during the pandemic.
The Hyderabad-based company, founded in 2015, designed its core product around a single mobile app that handles payroll and attendance. That architecture became a selling point as companies shifted to remote work. Keka said the pandemic-era demand has held, with clients using the platform for daily HR operations rather than just payroll runs.
The AI tools are designed to automate resume screening and predict attrition, according to the company. The performance upgrade includes goal tracking and feedback prompts tied to workflow data.
Keka competes with larger players such as Darwinbox, greytHR and Zoho People in India's crowded HR software market. The company does not disclose revenue or customer numbers publicly.
