The Jharkhand government has agreed to cancel the Jharkhand Public Service Commission (JPSC) examination, but protesting students said they will not end their agitation until a Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) probe is ordered.
Higher and Technical Education Minister Sudivya Kumar told a student delegation that the state will recommend an Enforcement Directorate (ED) investigation into alleged financial irregularities linked to the JPSC exams, according to PTI.
Students said the government's move was a partial victory. They called the announcement a step forward but insisted the agitation would continue until the CBI takes over the case.
