Jharkhand Exam Leak Protests: CJP Backs Students' Demands

The Cockroach Janta Party has thrown its weight behind students protesting in Ranchi over alleged irregularities in the JPSC and JSSC recruitment exams. CJP founder Abhijeet Dipke said on X that he spoke with the protesters and that the party supports their demands.
Hundreds of students have been demonstrating for five consecutive days. They are protesting alleged paper leaks in the 14th JPSC examination and the JSSC-CGL test. JPSC aspirant Rahul Kumar Kranti told PTI that OMR sheets had been leaked. He said the CID probe ordered by Chief Minister Hemant Soren does not inspire confidence. Previous investigations into JSSC-CGL paper leaks led to no action, Kranti added. “We have completely lost faith in the ongoing CID probe,” he said.
Protesters are demanding a CBI investigation into all recruitment exams conducted by JPSC and JSSC over the past seven years. They also want the chief minister to resign on moral grounds. One protester told ANI that all exams linked to JPSC, JSSC, and the blacklisted company TDL should be cancelled immediately. The 14th JPSC Combined Preliminary Test, held on April 19, is specifically targeted.
