Jay-Z's Final Yankee Stadium Show: Surprise Guests and a Late Start

Jay-Z closed his three-night Yankee Stadium residency early Monday morning, hours later than planned, after a security breach delayed the show by more than four hours.

The gates were supposed to open at 8 p.m. Sunday. Instead, the rapper took the stage around 12:15 a.m. Roc Nation and Yankee Stadium said in a joint statement that "hundreds of individuals in large groups – who did not have tickets to tonight's performance – stormed over peaceful ticketholders, and in some cases, breached security." That forced an extended closure of the gates.
