The Jacksonville Jaguars and tight end Brenton Strange agreed to a three-year, $48 million contract extension, his agency confirmed Wednesday.
Sportstars Inc. said Strange's deal includes $25 million in guarantees. Strange, a second-round pick in the 2023 NFL Draft, was entering the final year of his rookie contract.
The 6-foot-4, 253-pound pass catcher totaled a career-high 540 yards and three touchdowns on 46 catches over 12 appearances last season. He has 91 career receptions for 986 yards and six scores through three seasons.
Jaguars rookies report to training camp July 25 at Miller Electric Center. Veterans report three days later in Jacksonville.
