The Indian Navy located two liferafts and an oil slick near the position where a Panama-flagged cargo ship sent a distress signal on Saturday. Two crew members have been rescued, the Andaman & Nicobar Command said on Sunday.
The vessel, MV Ocean Winner, was carrying iron ore from Paradip Port in Odisha to China. It went down roughly 300 nautical miles north-northwest of Diglipur. A search is still under way for any remaining crew, the command added.
