Interoil Exploration proposes to pay July 2026 interest in kind via new bonds at 8.50%, and extend the 2025 financials deadline to August 2026. Vote ends 31 July.
Interoil Exploration and Production ASA asked bondholders to approve paying its July 2026 interest in kind and to extend the deadline for publishing its 2025 financial statements, the company said Tuesday.
The Norwegian oil and gas producer, which operates in Colombia and Argentina, wants to settle the 31 July 2026 coupon on its senior secured callable bonds (ISIN NO 001 0729908) by issuing additional bonds with the same 8.50% coupon and substantially equal terms. The so-called PIK bonds would replace a cash payment.
Separately, Interoil requested a waiver of the requirement to publish its 2025 annual report within 120 days of year-end. The company asked for an extension to 12 August 2026.
The proposed resolutions require a simple majority of voting bonds to pass. The voting period runs until 5 p.m. Oslo time on 31 July 2026, ten business days after the summons date.
Interoil is listed on the Oslo Stock Exchange and holds production and exploration assets in Colombia and Argentina, with headquarters in Oslo. The company said further details are in the summons document.
