Interactive Brokers has officially launched cryptocurrency trading services for clients throughout the European Economic Area. The brokerage firm is facilitating access to digital assets through its Irish subsidiary, Interactive Brokers Ireland Limited.
This expansion allows European investors to manage their cryptocurrency portfolios directly alongside traditional asset classes, including stocks and bonds, within a single account interface. The move marks a significant broadening of the firm’s service offerings for its regional client base, integrating crypto trading into the existing brokerage infrastructure already utilized for conventional financial instruments.
