India Restricts PVC Resin Imports for Six Months

India slapped a six-month floor price on imports of suspension-grade PVC resin. The Directorate General of Foreign Trade issued the restriction Wednesday. Export-oriented units are exempt.

The order follows an anti-dumping investigation. Domestic manufacturers had complained that producers in seven countries were selling PVC resin at unfairly low prices.
