IIM Kozhikode opened a Bloomberg Finance Lab with 12 terminals, the school said Wednesday, giving students access to the same data, analytics and trading tools used by professional investors.
The lab is part of a broader push by the Indian business school to bridge classroom theory with market practice. Students will use the terminals for coursework, research and the Bloomberg Certificate program, which the school said can help graduates transition into the country's financial services workforce.
“As financial markets become increasingly interconnected and data-driven, experiential learning is no longer optional,” IIM Kozhikode Director Debashis Chatterjee said in a statement. “This initiative will equip our students with the analytical capabilities, technological proficiency and global perspective required to thrive in the evolving world of finance and investment.”
