HotCopper trends: 1414 Degrees, Great Bear, Bounty Oil & Gas

HotCopper's daily pulse is a useful gauge for which small-cap stories are catching retail attention. Wednesday's top threads span space tech, a Canadian mineral play, and a long-running offshore gas dispute.

1414 Degrees (ASX:14D) signed a commercial agreement with Orbit Boy, a European company that runs an on-demand satellite air-launch system. The system can pick up a customer's payload from a local airport and launch it from a cargo plane within 24 hours. 14D shares were up 8.33% at lunchtime, trading at 13 cents.

Great Bear Exploration (ASX:GBL) re-listed on the ASX after completing re-compliance. The company, formerly Hydrocarbon Dynamics (ASX:HCD), is targeting copper, gold, silver, and uranium at the Great Bear project in Canada. Recent fieldwork and historical data have it aiming for fast-tracked on-ground exploration. The Great Bear region has been flagged as having Canada's highest probability for iron-oxide-copper-gold uranium plus silver-style mineralisation. GBL was steady at 2 cents, up 950% over the year.

Bounty Oil & Gas (ASX:BUY) and BPH Energy (ASX:BPH) both entered trading halts Wednesday, tied to the long-awaited Federal Court judgment on the PEP-11 permit offshore NSW. After years of uncertainty over approvals, both are halted pending an announcement. Unless the ASX says otherwise, securities will remain halted until the earlier of normal trading on Friday, June 19, CY26, or the release of an announcement.

The ASX 200 was up 0.6% in early trade.
