Hical Technologies Breaks Ground on 160,000 sq ft Aerospace Facility in Hosur

Hical Technologies broke ground on a 160,000 sq ft manufacturing facility in Hosur, Tamil Nadu, the company said. The plant will add precision machining and fabrication, plus special-process capabilities for global aerospace original equipment manufacturer programs.

The facility is designed to meet NADCAP certification requirements and other aerospace qualifications needed for international customer programs. It will complement Hical's existing electromechanical manufacturing operations, the company said.

Yashas Jaiveer, Hical's managing director, said the investment strengthens the company's role in India's aerospace supply chain. “With investments in advanced processes, automation and aerospace qualifications, we believe the Hosur facility will strengthen Hical’s capabilities and contribute to India’s role in the global aerospace supply chain,” he said in a statement.
