Gymshark Names Former Boden CTO as New Technology Chief

Gymshark has appointed Shaun Perkinson as its new chief technology officer. The company said the hire supports its next phase of growth.

Perkinson joins from Al Waha Travel Retailer in Saudi Arabia, where he served as CTO from September 2025 to July 2026. Before that, he spent five years as chief technology officer at Boden, the British clothing retailer.

Gymshark is a privately held fitnesswear brand based in the UK. The company has expanded rapidly through direct-to-consumer e-commerce and has invested heavily in its digital platform. Perkinson will oversee the company's technology strategy, including its online storefront, supply chain systems, and data infrastructure.

The appointment fills a role that had been vacant since the departure of the previous CTO earlier this year. Gymshark did not disclose further details about the transition or any changes to its technology roadmap.
