Grammy-nominated music producer Tay Keith, 29, behind 'Sicko Mode,' found dead; police rule out foul play, cause unknown.
Grammy-nominated producer Brytavious Chambers, known as Tay Keith, was found dead in his Nashville apartment Thursday afternoon, police confirmed.
Metro Nashville Police said the 29-year-old was found during a welfare check. No foul play is suspected, the department said. The cause of death remains unknown.
Keith, a Memphis native, started posting music online as a teenager. He met rapper BlocBoy JB at 14 and the two began collaborating, Variety reported. In 2018, he produced BlocBoy JB's hit "Rover" and later that year co-produced "Sicko Mode" by Travis Scott, which earned a Grammy nomination for Best Rap Song. He also worked on "Never Recover" by Lil Baby and Gunna featuring Drake, and on 21 Savage and Drake's "Rich Flex," which also earned a Best Rap Song nomination, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
