GoldHaven Drills Kuhn Tungsten Zone at Magno Project in BC

GoldHaven Resources has started drilling the Kuhn tungsten zone at its Magno Project in British Columbia, targeting historical grades of 0.48% WO₃ across four modelled lenses.

GoldHaven Resources Corp. (CSE: GOH) (OTCQB: GHVNF) has started drilling at its 100%-owned Magno Project in northwestern British Columbia, the company said Thursday. The first hole of the 2026 campaign targets the Kuhn tungsten zone, the company's maiden drill test at the property.

The program marks a shift from surface exploration to drill testing across a large polymetallic system that also carries silver, lead, zinc and copper.

"Commencing drilling at Magno is an important milestone for GoldHaven," the company said in a statement. "We are starting at Kuhn, where compelling historical tungsten intercepts provide us with a strong foundation for our first drill program and an opportunity to evaluate the system using modern exploration techniques."

Historical drilling at Kuhn returned several significant tungsten-bearing intervals, GoldHaven said. Work at the Kuhn and nearby Dead Goat areas also produced an estimate of roughly 616,500 tonnes grading 0.48% WO₃ across four modelled lenses. That estimate is not a current mineral resource or reserve, the company cautioned, and a qualified person has not done sufficient work to classify it as such.

The historical estimate includes roughly 409,300 tonnes grading 0.48% WO₃ at Kuhn North Lower 3A, 78,700 tonnes grading 0.50% WO₃ at Kuhn North Upper 3A, 100,900 tonnes grading 0.49% WO₃ at Dead Goat, and 27,600 tonnes grading 0.39% WO₃ at the Dead Goat Deeper Lens. GoldHaven said it is not treating the historical estimate as current.

Tungsten is classified as a critical mineral for its hardness, density and the highest melting point of any metal, making it hard to substitute in cutting tools, aerospace components and defence applications. Global tungsten production and processing are highly concentrated, and Canada has pushed to develop domestic and allied critical-mineral supply chains.

GoldHaven's exploration thesis at Magno extends beyond tungsten. The roughly 37,000-hectare property hosts multiple styles of mineralization and numerous historical workings. Recent exploration identified high-grade silver, lead, zinc and other metals across the property, the company said.

The company plans to systematically evaluate priority targets during the 2026 program, integrating drilling results with geological mapping, geochemistry and a recently completed airborne geophysical survey.

GoldHaven is a Canadian junior explorer whose portfolio also includes the Three Guardsmen Project in British Columbia, the Copeçal Gold Project in Brazil, and three critical mineral projects in Brazil covering roughly 123,900 hectares.
