Goldgroup Mining will list on NYSE American under ticker GORO after its merger with Gold Resource Corporation closes July 17. Trading starts July 20.
Goldgroup Mining (TSX-V: GGA; OTC: GGAZD) will list its shares on the NYSE American under the ticker GORO after its merger with Gold Resource Corporation (NYSE American: GORO) closes, the companies said Monday.
The merger is expected to close after the market close on July 17, 2026, subject to TSX Venture Exchange approval and other customary conditions. Goldgroup shares would start trading on the NYSE American on July 20, the same day GRC’s common stock is expected to be delisted from that exchange. Goldgroup’s shares will stop quoting on the OTC Markets once NYSE trading begins.
Goldgroup holds a 100% interest in the San Francisco gold project in Sonora, Mexico, a fully permitted open-pit and heap-leach operation that the company has said is ready for a rapid restart. It also owns the producing Cerro Prieto heap-leach gold mine in the same state. GRC operates the Don David Gold Mine in Oaxaca, Mexico, and is developing the Back Forty Project in Michigan.
The combined company will be led by Goldgroup’s management team. The companies first announced the merger agreement in January and amended it in May. The post-merger entity will retain the Goldgroup corporate structure while using GRC’s NYSE listing and ticker.
Completion of the listing and delisting remain subject to all closing conditions. Neither company has said whether additional regulatory reviews could affect the timetable.
