GigSafe integrates U.S. Bank's embedded payments to let delivery operators push instant payouts to drivers' cards, closing the loop between compliance and payroll.
GigSafe, a compliance and payments platform for regulated delivery and logistics operators, now lets companies make payments directly inside its system. The feature comes from an integration with U.S. Bank's embedded payment solutions, the bank said Tuesday.
The platform serves medical couriers, pharmaceutical transporters, and clinical trial logistics firms. Those industries operate under tight compliance rules, and the new push-to-card functionality lets customers send payouts straight to a driver's eligible card after a shift ends.
"The companies we serve operate in high-stakes, regulated environments where contractor compliance is not optional – and neither are reliable payments," GigSafe CEO and Founder David Pickerell said in the release. "Working with U.S. Bank allows us to close the loop: we manage compliance, they provide the banking infrastructure, and our customers benefit from a single platform that does everything."
GigSafe will use a for-benefit-of (FBO) account structure from U.S. Bank. That setup lets companies run instant pay programs without managing the funds themselves, according to the press release.
U.S. Bank's embedded payment solutions cover instant payments and other types while letting companies keep control of the end-user experience, the bank said.
"For today's delivery workforce, getting paid instantly is an expectation," Joe Voica, head of embedded payments at U.S. Bank, said in the release. "By embedding instant payment capabilities directly into GigSafe's platform, we're helping delivery companies pay drivers immediately after work is completed, while maintaining the security, compliance and financial controls that come with a bank-led solution."
U.S. Bank expanded its embedded payment suite in June 2025 to include the FBO solution for moving money on behalf of clients.
