Fuel Tech (FTEK) Q3 Earnings: Nov 4 Report, Nov 5 Call

Fuel Tech will report third-quarter results on Nov. 4 after the close, the company said Thursday. Management holds a conference call the next day at 10 a.m. ET.

The Warrenville, Ill.-based company sells emissions control systems and water treatment tech to utilities and industrial plants. The call comes as U.S. and European regulators tighten limits on nitrogen oxide from power plants and industrial furnaces. Fuel Tech's core revenue stream depends on plant operators spending to meet those rules. The company's last quarterly revenue was $6.4 million, with a net loss of $1.1 million. A beat or miss on the top line will signal whether industrial capital spending on emissions compliance is accelerating or stalling.
