First United Bank Brings Back $250 Checking Bonus In Branch

First United Bank is offering a $250 bonus for new Prestige checking accounts opened in branch by October 18, 2024.

That is better than the $100 bonus the bank previously offered. The Prestige checking account carries a $7.50 monthly fee, which is waived when the balance stays above $1,000. A separate comment noted a $10 fee if the account is closed within 60 days.

The deal is available only in the bank's branch network. It was first offered in May, extended through July, and has now returned for a fall window.
