Kathleen Creedon, a nearly 30-year marine cargo veteran, joins Euclid Marine as SVP to expand the firm's cargo and stock throughput portfolio.
Euclid Marine hired Kathleen Creedon as senior vice president to lead its cargo and stock throughput business, the specialty marine insurer said Monday.
Creedon brings nearly three decades in marine cargo underwriting and portfolio management. She joins from Falvey Insurance Group, where she was vice president of marine cargo. Earlier roles included senior underwriting positions at The Hartford and Allianz Global Corporate & Specialty.
"We are excited to welcome Kathleen to Euclid Marine," Managing Principal Brian Pullen said in a statement. "Her deep expertise in marine cargo and stock throughput, combined with her strong reputation in the industry, makes her an outstanding addition."
Managing Principal Jason Gomez said Creedon's "experience and reputation in the marine insurance market make her an excellent addition." He said the firm looks forward to the value she will bring to clients, broker partners, and the cargo business.
Creedon has held leadership roles with the Board of Marine Underwriters of San Francisco and the Association of Marine Underwriters of San Francisco, including terms as president and vice president.
Euclid Marine is part of Euclid Program Managers, an owner-operator platform where underwriters hold equity stakes. The firm focuses on cargo, stock throughput, and other complex marine risks.
Creedon will work with brokers and clients on supply chain, warehousing, and transit risks in her new role.
