French perfume retailer Essential Parfums will open its first standalone store outside France at 37 Beak Street, Soho, in October, with Shaftesbury Capital securing the lease.

Essential Parfums, the French perfume retailer, will open its first standalone store outside France at 37 Beak Street in Soho, London, in early October.
The 795 sq ft space will carry the brand's full range of fragrances, created with perfumers including Calice Becker and Quentin Bisch. The store will also sell candles and hand creams. The design is minimalist, inspired by Parisian apartments, a look the company said "places the focus firmly on the fragrances."
