Enerflex Ltd. said Fernando Assing will step down from its board of directors effective July 17, 2026, to focus on his role as chief executive officer of Camin Cargo Control.
Assing joined the board in August 2020 and served on the human resources and compensation committee throughout his tenure. The Calgary-based company has started a search for a replacement director.
"It has been a privilege to serve as a director of Enerflex over the past six years," Assing said in a statement. He praised CEO Paul Mahoney's "energy level, strategic clarity, and decisiveness" and expressed confidence the company would execute its recently rolled-out strategy.
Board Chair Kevin Reinhart thanked Assing for his guidance and contributions since 2020.
Enerflex provides modular natural gas, power technology, and treated water solutions. The company employs more than 4,400 people across engineering, manufacturing, and service roles. Its shares trade on the Toronto Stock Exchange under the ticker EFX and on the New York Stock Exchange under EFXT.
