Enerflex Ltd. said Fernando Assing will leave its board July 17, stepping down to focus on his duties as chief executive officer of Camin Cargo Control.
Assing joined the Enerflex board in August 2020 and served on the human resources and compensation committee throughout his tenure. The company has started looking for a replacement.
"It has been a privilege to serve as a director of Enerflex over the past six years," Assing said in a statement. "I have been impressed by Paul Mahoney's energy level, strategic clarity, and decisiveness."
Kevin Reinhart, Enerflex's board chair, thanked Assing for his guidance and contributions since 2020.
Enerflex, which supplies modular natural gas, power technology and treated water systems, trades on the Toronto Stock Exchange under EFX and on the New York Stock Exchange under EFXT.
