Chair Reid highlighted Skouries first concentrate and the Olympias expansion as near-term catalysts. The transition from construction to cash flow is the defining event.

Shareholders at Eldorado Gold's annual meeting re-elected all director nominees and approved the advisory resolution on executive compensation. Chair Steven Reid used the vote to frame the company's next phase.
Reid said the meeting comes with Skouries approaching first concentrate production and the Olympias expansion advancing. The recently completed Foran Mining acquisition adds a longer-term copper-zinc project at McIlvenna Bay. He said the combination should lift production and free cash flow over the next cycle.
Skouries is the most immediate catalyst. The high-grade gold-copper deposit in northern Greece has been under construction for years. First concentrate, expected in the coming months, marks the shift from capital spending to revenue. A successful ramp lowers unit costs and improves margins at a time when gold prices remain above $2,300 an ounce.
Olympias, already in production, is being expanded for higher throughput. It adds tonnage without the greenfield risk that Skouries carries. McIlvenna Bay in Saskatchewan extends Eldorado's mine life and diversifies its geographic footprint beyond Greece and Turkey.
Board changes reflect the same operational focus. New director Patrick Godin brings more than 40 years of mining experience, including executive roles overseeing construction and mine operations. His appointment signals that the next 12 months are about commissioning, not just exploration.
Execution risk remains real. Skouries has seen delays and cost overruns in earlier phases. On-time delivery of first concentrate and a ramp that meets internal targets would support a cash flow inflection and potentially a higher valuation. A miss pushes the timeline out again. The next quarterly report will include the first detailed update on Skouries progress.
