Deductive AI's software automates root-cause analysis for production incidents. It ingests telemetry data and surfaces the likely cause with recommended actions. Elastic will integrate that into its own observability stack, which already handles logs, metrics, and traces. The company said the combination will cut the manual work engineers devote to understanding what happened and what to do next.
“Engineering teams today are drowning in telemetry but starved for answers,” Elastic CEO Ash Kulkarni said in a statement. “We have been building AI into Elastic Observability to move teams from detection to resolution faster.”
The observability market is consolidating. Deductive AI customers will continue to receive support while Elastic develops integration plans and shares product roadmap details, the company said.
