DXN has secured a $12.2M turnkey contract for a 2MW AI HPC modular data centre, its second such deal in months. The company said the win reflects growing demand for pre-fabricated AI compute infrastructure.
DXN (ASX: DXN) has landed a $12.2 million turnkey contract to design, build and deliver a 2 megawatt AI high-performance computing modular data centre for an undisclosed AI compute operator. The deal covers the full scope: engineering, manufacturing, delivery, installation and commissioning of the facility, which will combine purpose-built AI modules with an upgrade of existing onsite infrastructure.
This is DXN's second AI HPC contract in as many months. In June, the company signed an $8.8 million deal with a US-based neo-cloud operator for a 1.36MW modular data centre with expandable architecture. The new contract is roughly 40% larger and represents a single-site deployment of 2MW of high-density GPU capacity.
Managing director Shalini Lagrutta said the win validated DXN's product strategy. "This demonstrates that the AI HPC module platform we have productised over the last three years is translating into wins across offshore and domestic markets," she said. "Delivering 2MW of high-density GPU capacity on a single site is a meaningful uplift in scale for the product line." She added that the contract was the first phase of a potentially larger deployment, and that strong execution would position DXN for future phases.
The global data centre GPU market was estimated at roughly $99 billion in 2025, growing at about 14% per year, according to DXN's announcement. The company cited forecasts that the AI data centre infrastructure market would expand at 27.5% annually through 2032, with AI inference as the fastest-growing segment. GPU-as-a-Service global revenue is projected to reach about $134 billion by 2030.
DXN's prefabricated AI HPC modules are designed for the AI compute market, fully tested before shipment and deployable within eight months of contract signing. The company has invested in additional manufacturing capacity to keep pace with demand across the GPU and AI HPC markets.
Detailed design and long-lead procurement are starting immediately. The customer's site is expected to be operational in the new year. The June contract is also on track for delivery before year-end.
