Dune's Flow integration unlocks five years of on-chain data from 40 million accounts, covering DeFi, NFTs, and AI agents. The dataset went live June 18.
Alpha Score of 46 reflects weak overall profile with weak value, moderate quality, moderate sentiment. Based on 3 of 4 signals – score is capped at 90 until remaining data ingests.
Dune Analytics now indexes the Flow blockchain, giving analysts direct query access to more than 40 million user accounts and roughly one billion transactions spanning five years. The dataset went live June 18.
Flow is a Layer 1 designed for mainstream consumer apps. It runs two virtual machines side by side. Cadence uses a resource-oriented model where assets live inside user accounts, not in contract storage, which makes ownership transparent at the protocol level. Flow EVM is fully Ethereum-compatible, letting developers deploy Solidity contracts with tools like Hardhat or Foundry. A single transaction can execute across both environments atomically – one operation, one finality.
For analysts, the data splits into four broad segments. Core network metrics cover transaction volumes and processing speeds across both VMs. DeFi data tracks lending protocols, decentralized exchange activity, and vault performance. Consumer application trends show engagement with projects like NBA Top Shot, Disney Pinnacle, and 24Karat, including drop mechanics and user retention. Economic indicators capture fee generation, stablecoin movements, and TVL shifts.
The integration gives researchers a window into real-world crypto adoption beyond speculative trading. One upcoming application, Peak Money, aims to offer high-yield savings accounts backed by crypto, with scheduled transactions and liquidation safeguards built on-chain. Flow also claims native support for scheduled smart contracts, which could automate agent-driven workflows using Cadence's granular, revocable permission system.
