After-selling platform Drive Point Exchange partners with NAAC and Insurify to help consumers unwind bad dealer F&I products and save thousands on vehicle ownership.
Apex Auto Solutions rebranded as Drive Point Exchange on Friday, rolling out a platform meant to fix the tangled financing, service contracts, and insurance policies customers often sign at car dealerships.
The company said it will work with major manufacturers, North American Auto Care as its chosen administrator, and Insurify.com, an insurance comparison site. The goal: give drivers a place to review dealer-sold products after they leave the lot, then unwind or replace anything that does not fit.
"Too many drivers leave with confusing paperwork, protection they don't understand, or payments that don't fit their lives," a Drive Point Exchange spokesperson said. "We give consumers a second chance to structure their auto finance, warranty, and insurance the right way – and often save thousands of dollars over the life of the vehicle."
The pitch rests on a specific problem. Finance-and-insurance desks at dealerships push service contracts, gap coverage, and loan terms under time pressure. Buyers often leave with protection that overlaps their existing insurance or with loans carrying hidden costs. Drive Point Exchange steps in after the sale. Customers upload their current contracts, refinance options, and policy details. The platform compares them against curated programs from NAAC and Insurify. If a product is overpriced or poorly matched, the team helps replace it.
The company framed the move as a direct response to consumer complaints about dealership F&I practices. Repairing that trust, executives said, requires a venue that does not have a sales incentive at the point of signature.
Drive Point Exchange plans to add more lenders, administrators, and insurance partners over the next year. The partnership with Insurify lets customers shop for coverage in real time, which could cut premiums for drivers stuck in policies sold at the dealership without competitive comparison.
