Dreadnought Resources defines multiple gold-in-soil anomalies over 20km strike at High Range within Mangaroon project. Next results due July 2026.
Dreadnought Resources (ASX: DRE) reported multiple gold-in-soil anomalies over a 20-kilometre strike at the High Range area within its Mangaroon gold project in Western Australia's Gascoyne region.
Shares rose 7.14% to 1.5 cents, giving the company a market capitalisation of A$80.15 million.
The results came from infill soil sampling at High Range North and first-pass sampling at High Range Northwest. The anomalies line up with major structures interpreted from magnetic surveys, the company said.
“Making a large-scale gold discovery is a key pillar of our ‘Finding More Gold Faster Strategy’,” Managing Director Dean Tuck told shareholders. “These infill soil results from High Range North and first pass soil results from High Range Northwest have successfully defined multiple strong gold-in-soil anomalism over 20km strike. These anomalies are strongly correlated with major structures interpreted from the magnetics surveys.”
High Range North and Northwest together form a 20km by 6km camp-scale prospect. Dreadnought said this is the first gold-focused exploration in the High Range area and the first time gold-in-soil anomalies have been observed in that belt. Evidence of historical prospecting and similarities to the original Bangemall goldfield at Cobra offer additional support, according to the company.
The Star of Mangaroon is the only camp-scale prospect with a history of gold production. With camp-scale prospects now generated, Dreadnought has shifted to defining drill targets through systematic soil sampling and mapping across High Range North, High Range Northwest, High Range South, Minga Bar and Bordah.
Next steps include detailed surface mapping and sampling to prioritise targets, with drilling targeted by the end of 2026 or early 2027. Soil sampling is under way across the other prospects, and results are expected in July 2026.
