Dickey’s Barbecue Pit launches pickle-flavored menu items and a patriotic Big Yellow Cup for America’s 250th anniversary, available through September.
Dickey’s Barbecue Pit is rolling out a lineup of pickle-flavored menu items and a limited-edition patriotic Big Yellow Cup to mark America’s 250th anniversary. The new offerings hit stores Wednesday, July 1, with the pickle items arriving July 6, the chain said in a press release.
The Dallas-based chain, which calls itself the world’s largest barbecue concept, is introducing Pickle Okra, Pickle Fries, a Pickle Ranch Pulled Pork Sandwich, a Pickle Ranch Loaded Baker with Pulled Pork, Pickle Ranch Loaded Fries with Pulled Pork, and a Pickle Ranch Mac Stack with Pulled Pork. All use a new pickle salt seasoning blend created for National Pickle Month.
“America’s 250th birthday deserves a celebration as bold as the occasion itself,” CEO Laura Rea Dickey said in the release. She called the items “a testament to our ongoing culinary creativity.”
The patriotic Big Yellow Cup sells for $3.99. A portion of proceeds goes to The Dickey Foundation, which supports first responders and their families.
The pickle items and the cup are available through September 30. Customers can pre-order July 4 barbecue online at Dickeys.com or through the chain’s mobile app.
