Delhi's minimum temperature dips 1.8°C below normal; AQI moderate

Delhi recorded a minimum temperature of 26.2 degrees Celsius on Tuesday, 1.8 degrees below the seasonal normal, the India Meteorological Department said.

The weather office forecast a partly cloudy sky with a chance of thunder and lightning. The maximum temperature is expected to settle around 37 degrees Celsius.

Relative humidity stood at 61% at 8:30 am.

Air quality remained in the 'moderate' category, with an Air Quality Index reading of 143 at 9 am, according to Central Pollution Control Board data.

The CPCB classifies AQI readings as follows: 0-50 'good', 51-100 'satisfactory', 101-200 'moderate', 201-300 'poor', 301-400 'very poor', and 401-500 'severe'.
