Delhi Traffic Police issued restrictions, diversions and parking controls for the India-Afghanistan first T20 International at Arun Jaitley Stadium on Sunday, September 13.
The measures take effect at 2 p.m. around the stadium. Restrictions may be introduced on Bahadur Shah Zafar Marg, DDU Marg, Mirdard Chowk and JLN Marg, depending on traffic conditions, the police said in a public advisory. Goods vehicle movement is curtailed on stretches of Bahadur Shah Zafar Marg, JLN Marg and DDU Marg.
Matchgoers were given specific routes: Gates 1-8 via Bahadur Shah Zafar Marg; Gates 10-15 from JLN Marg near the Ambedkar Stadium Bus Terminal; Gates 16-18 from Bahadur Shah Zafar Marg near the petrol pump. The police urged spectators to use designated entry points, parking areas and app-based taxi pick-up and drop-off points.
