Delhi Police files FIR on pellet gun complaint after Rahul Gandhi sit-in

Delhi Police registered a First Information Report on Friday over a complaint that pellet guns were used during Cockroach Janta Party protests on July 20. Congress leader Rahul Gandhi ended his sit-in at the Parliament Street police station after the FIR was filed.
The complaint came from Sahil Lochav, who said he lost vision in one eye after being hit by pellet gun fire at Connaught Place. An AIIMS report cited more than 200 pellets lodged in his body, including three in his eye and some near his heart.
Gandhi had staged the protest demanding the FIR be registered. He said the filing marked a first step toward justice.
