Final assays from Dart Mining's 4,100m Banshee program confirm gold mineralisation from end to end, setting up a maiden resource estimate and 51% project equity.
Dart Mining (DTM stock page) confirmed gold mineralisation across the full 730-metre strike at its Banshee target in Central Queensland. The final assays from a 4,100-metre drilling program returned 12 metres at 1.03 grams per tonne gold, including 3.4 metres at 1.78 g/t.
Chairman James Chirnside said the results show the system remains open along the entire drilled strike. "Having now tested a full 730m of strike, we're seeing gold mineralisation present from end to end," he said. The company is already turning to metallurgical test-work and a 3D model that will underpin a maiden mineral resource estimate.
The Banshee system also carries antimony and silver mineralisation. The drilling program tested 41 holes covering the full strike length.
Once the resource estimate is complete, Dart will earn an additional 6% equity in the project, moving from 45% to 51%. The farm-in joint venture partner is Great Divide Mining (ASX:GDM).
DTM shares traded at 1.4 cents before the open, giving the company a market cap of $3.67 million.
