Dar Almarkabah Audit Committee Members Resign Over Governance Gaps

Dar Almarkabah for Renting Cars Co. said two members of its audit committee resigned, citing weak implementation of corporate governance procedures.

Khalid Al Muqbil and Ahmed Al Saadoun stepped down, the company said in a statement. The company didn't name replacements or specify the governance shortcomings.

Dar Almarkabah, which operates a fleet of rental vehicles across Saudi Arabia, is listed on the Saudi stock exchange. The resignations leave two vacancies on the audit committee.
