CW drops Miss USA broadcasts a week before finals. Pageant will stream on Queen Beauty Network instead, the same platform used in 2025.
The next Miss USA and Miss Teen USA pageants won't air on television as planned. The CW Network confirmed Thursday it will not broadcast the finals scheduled for next week in Miami.
"After careful consideration and conversations with the Miss USA Organization, The CW Network has decided to forego next week's broadcasts of the Miss USA and Miss Teen USA pageants," a CW spokesperson said in a statement. "We wish the organization and all of this year's contestants well in the competition."
A Miss USA spokesperson told Business Insider the pageant will stream on the Queen Beauty Network, the same platform used in 2025. That was the first year the contest went without a TV broadcast since 1965.
The CW had signed a three-year deal with former CEO Laylah Rose in April 2024. A month later, Miss USA 2023 Noelia Voigt and Miss Teen USA UmaSofia Srivastava gave up their titles, a first in the pageant's 70-plus-year history. Both said they had been bullied by Rose, who denied the allegations.
Rose was replaced by Thom Brodeur in September 2025. In June, Brodeur announced a new agreement with The CW, calling the return to cable "a defining moment as we celebrate 75 years of Miss USA."
"The CW reaches audiences in every corner of the country, and there is no better stage on which to showcase these 102 extraordinary women as they compete for two of the most iconic titles in the world," Brodeur said in the June press release.
The Miss Teen USA and Miss USA finals are still set for August 26 and 27 at the Adrienne Arsht Center in Miami.
The pageant has changed hands three times since 2020 and weathered multiple public scandals. The CW had aired the 2024 Miss USA pageant as scheduled last August.
