
Shareholders backed management's director slate, reaffirming board continuity as Conifex continues timber harvesting and bioenergy operations in British Columbia.
Conifex Timber elected all management nominees to its board at the annual meeting June 19, the company said. Shareholders voted in favour of seven directors: Kenneth A. Shields, Andrew Fisher, Yuri Lacis, Patrick B. McGrath, Gordon C. Milne, Donald T. Redden and Peter R. Rowell.
Each nominee was elected by ballot. Conifex filed the full voting breakdown on SEDAR, as required by Canadian securities rules.
Conifex's primary business covers timber harvesting, reforestation, sawmilling, lumber finishing and distribution. It sells into the United States, Canada and Japan. The company also operates a bioenergy power generation facility at its mill in Mackenzie, British Columbia.
