Community Catalyst Launches Voices 3.0 After State Health Wins

Community Catalyst, the health justice advocacy group, launched the third phase of its Voices for Health Justice program Tuesday. The initiative works with local organizations in roughly a dozen states on healthcare reform through organizing, policy advocacy, and narrative change.

Since 2021, the program has helped secure paid sick leave and expanded health coverage at the state level, the group said. It also protected child care access in some states. The new phase adds a data infrastructure called Health Justice Intelligence, which tracks what works and identifies patterns across states. The system treats stories as data, the organization said.
