CoinGape Awards Honour Crypto Builders as Institutions Push In

Institutional adoption in crypto has moved from conference talk to line item. CoinGape, the crypto media firm, is launching a Global Onchain Awards 2026 to recognise the companies and executives building for that shift. The ceremony is set for Oct. 6 at Pullman Singapore Hill Street, alongside the Global Onchain Summit Singapore 2026 that CoinGape is organising.

CoinGape co-founder and COO Abhinav Agarwal said the awards are aimed at a market that has changed. "The conversation is no longer only about adoption. The awards will focus on companies that are already executing in this market, rather than simply talking about the institutional opportunity," he said.

The categories track the fastest-growing corners of digital assets. Prediction Markets get two awards: Best Decentralized and Best Centralized platform. The Tokenization & Trading section covers the Best Exchange or Platform for Trading Tokenized Equities, a Rising Platform for Tokenized Assets and the Best Crypto Exchange for Institutions. Infrastructure for tokenization is recognised with awards for Best Tokenized Real-World Asset (RWA) Platform and Best Law Firm for Tokenization.

DeFi categories target the institutional side of the market: Best Institutional DeFi Solution and Best Institutional Staking & Liquid Restaking Infrastructure. Stablecoins and blockchain payments, areas that have drawn mainstream users and regulators, get awards for Best Stablecoin Neo Bank, Best Stablecoin Custodian and Best Stablecoin Payment Infrastructure.
