CoinGape's Global Onchain Awards 2026, set for Oct. 6 in Singapore, will recognise companies and executives building institutional infrastructure across prediction markets, tokenization, DeFi and stablecoins.
Institutional adoption in crypto has moved from conference talk to line item. CoinGape, the crypto media firm, is launching a Global Onchain Awards 2026 to recognise the companies and executives building for that shift. The ceremony is set for Oct. 6 at Pullman Singapore Hill Street, alongside the Global Onchain Summit Singapore 2026 that CoinGape is organising.
CoinGape co-founder and COO Abhinav Agarwal said the awards are aimed at a market that has changed. "The conversation is no longer only about adoption. The awards will focus on companies that are already executing in this market, rather than simply talking about the institutional opportunity," he said.
The categories track the fastest-growing corners of digital assets. Prediction Markets get two awards: Best Decentralized and Best Centralized platform. The Tokenization & Trading section covers the Best Exchange or Platform for Trading Tokenized Equities, a Rising Platform for Tokenized Assets and the Best Crypto Exchange for Institutions. Infrastructure for tokenization is recognised with awards for Best Tokenized Real-World Asset (RWA) Platform and Best Law Firm for Tokenization.
DeFi categories target the institutional side of the market: Best Institutional DeFi Solution and Best Institutional Staking & Liquid Restaking Infrastructure. Stablecoins and blockchain payments, areas that have drawn mainstream users and regulators, get awards for Best Stablecoin Neo Bank, Best Stablecoin Custodian and Best Stablecoin Payment Infrastructure.
The Enterprise Infrastructure & Compliance section covers the less visible plumbing that makes institutional custody and settlement possible. Categories include Best Cross-Border PayFi & Remittance Solution, Best Fiat-to-Crypto On/Off-Ramp Infrastructure, Best Digital Asset Compliance Solution and Best Wallet Infrastructure Provider for Enterprises. Individual and institutional honours include an Onchain Leadership Award, Digital Asset Bank of the Year and Most Influential Creator.
A closed jury of executives from banking, asset management, digital custody and financial infrastructure will pick the winners. The announcement will be made live from the closing stage of the summit, putting the awards in front of the institutions and executives driving the next adoption phase.
Previous CoinGape awards programmes drew more than 300 projects, 50,000 community participants and 30 categories across traditional and onchain finance. The 2026 edition turns the focus toward institutional capital. Nominations are open.
CoinGape was awarded Best Crypto Media Company 2024 at the Global Blockchain Show in Dubai.
