Coforge's new private equity business unit will use its acquisition turnaround playbook and AI platform to help PE firms improve EBITDA and scale growth.
Coforge launched a new business unit focused on private equity. The unit will help PE firms drive operational improvements and growth, the company announced Tuesday.
The move draws on Coforge's track record of turning around acquisitions. Management previously led turnarounds at NIIT Technologies, Incessant Technologies, SLK Global, Cigniti Technologies, and Encora LLC. The new unit will apply those playbooks to portfolio companies.
"Private equity firms are moving from exploring AI opportunities to embedding AI-driven value creation into their investment strategies," said Preeti Singh, Executive Vice President and Head of North America at Coforge. "Executing AI initiatives at scale across the portfolio is becoming a strategic differentiator that requires a repeatable, scalable model tied to measurable business outcomes."
Coforge said PE firms are increasingly focused on operational transformation and EBITDA improvement. Changing market conditions and longer hold periods have made technology transformation essential.
The unit will be powered by Coforge Nuuron, an AI operating system and enterprise autonomy platform. It combines technology, data, governance, and execution expertise. The company said the services go beyond traditional deal advisory or technology solutions.
Coforge shares closed at ₹1,819.00 on Tuesday, up 1.06%.
