Co-op Opens Fulham Palace Road Store

Co-op opened a new store on Fulham Palace Road in west London on Friday. The 3,000-square-foot location near Charing Cross Hospital created 15 jobs and includes a Costa coffee counter, a PayPoint terminal, and a DPD parcel collection point.

The store carries fresh groceries and a range of Fairtrade products. Chilled beers and wines are also available. Co-op's own meat and dairy are 100% British. Online delivery is offered through the cooperative's own web shop and through third-party apps including Deliveroo and Just Eat.

Sajid Ashraf, Co-op's area operations manager, said the store is "a hub contributing to local life." He described the investment as aimed at meeting community needs with quality and value.

The store also features a soft plastic recycling station for items such as crisp packets and bread bags. Co-op is a consumer-owned cooperative with more than 7 million members.
