CleanSpace Holdings (ASX: CSX) has launched its AGILE powered air-purifying respirator across the UK and Europe after securing EN 12941 TH2 certification. The device is the first loose-fitting PAPR powered by the company's patented AirSensit technology, designed for workers in high-dust industrial environments.
The AGILE delivers 99.97% filtration efficiency through a loose-fitting half facepiece that accommodates different facial profiles, including workers with beards. Its European approval followed almost two years of focused R&D aimed at meeting tightening regulatory standards while addressing a gap in protection for workers unable to use conventional tight-fitting respirators.
The device weighs less than 425 grams and removes the belts and hoses commonly associated with traditional powered respirators. That design supports freedom of movement, can be put on and removed quickly, and remains compatible with other personal protective equipment. CleanSpace developed AGILE for construction, quarrying, mining, manufacturing, and other workplaces with high concentrations of airborne particulates.
Increasing regulatory requirements and greater attention to occupational health are expanding demand for advanced respiratory protection across these sectors. The new product broadens CleanSpace's industrial range and provides a scalable alternative to established respiratory protection brands in the European market.
Certification for Australia and New Zealand remains on schedule, with approval anticipated during the next several months. Entry into those markets would materially increase the addressable opportunity for AGILE across mining, resources, construction, and industrial applications. CleanSpace will focus initially on commercialisation through its established distribution channels while preparing for the anticipated regional expansion.
The Sydney-based business designs and manufactures respiratory protection equipment for industrial and healthcare markets. European certification validates the product's technical performance and gives CleanSpace a platform to expand sales across existing markets while targeting industries with increasingly demanding worker protection requirements.
CleanSpace's Alpha Score sits at 55/100, a Moderate rating in the Industrials sector. The stock page is available at CSX stock page.
