CJP Founder Dipke Thanks Supporters as 37-Day Protest Ends
CJP founder Abhijeet Dipke thanked supporters after the 37-day protest ended with government concessions and the education minister's resignation. Dipke said the movement was "just the beginning" for the party.

The Cockroach Janata Party called off its 37-day agitation on Saturday after the Indian government agreed to compensate families of NEET aspirants who died by suicide, withdraw FIRs against protesters, and review a five-point charter on examination reforms. Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan resigned amid the nationwide demonstrations over the alleged NEET-UG 2026 paper leak. CJP founder Abhijeet Dipke described the outcome as a "huge victory of the youth."
In a video shared Sunday, Dipke thanked supporters across the country. "It feels really good... finally, at last, I have been able to sleep peacefully and wake up in my bedroom without thinking about what to do next," he said. The month-long protest had been one of the most challenging phases for the organisation, he added, ending in a win driven by young people.
Dipke apologised for not personally thanking supporters still at Jantar Mantar after the protest ended. He said he had to return home because of typhoid and a high fever. He also acknowledged critics. "If you hadn't criticised us, if you hadn't questioned us, we perhaps wouldn't have had the chance to improve ourselves," he said.
