The CII honored seven volunteers at its annual network conference, including Biba's Juliet Williams, for exceptional service to the institute and the Personal Finance Society.
The Chartered Insurance Institute handed out Local Institute Volunteer Awards to seven people at its annual network conference in St Albans on Wednesday. The awards recognize individuals who have gone beyond expectations in supporting the CII or the Personal Finance Society at the local, regional, or national level, the institute said.
Members across the British Isles nominate candidates, looking for unsung heroes on local institute councils or PFS committees who deserve a distinguished or exceptional service award.
Juliet Williams, who works for the British Insurance Brokers' Association, and Jean Cookson were among those honored for exceptional service. The full list of recipients was not released by the CII.
The ceremony took place during the CII's annual network conference, which brings together volunteers from across the country. The institute did not provide further details on the specific contributions of each awardee.
